Current Projects
Curran & Briggs Limited is able to carry out a diversified selection of
work. Displayed below are some of the projects that we have taken on
this season.

Summerside BMX Park: Contracted by The City Of Summerside
this project will see C&B construct a two "bowl" BMX Park at the
intersection of Willow St and Greenwood Drive. Work will entail
excavation, storm pipe installation, earthworks, concrete & asphalt work
as well as landscaping. |

Charlottetown Pipe Work: Curran & Briggs Limited has
been contracted by The City of Charlottetown to conduct ditch infill along
Countryview Drive, Regent Street, Lewis Point Road, Bardin Crescent,
Abbey Drive and Richard Drive.
Street paving and landscaping to be completed as required. |

Richmond Route 2 Road Construction: Curran & Briggs Limited,
contracted by the province of PEI's Transportation and Public Works to
resurface roadway in Richmond on Route 2. Work encompasses milling the existing road surface
and re-surfacing with new asphalt and shoulder work. |

Empire Theaters "Studio 5" Parking Lot: Contracted by Crombie Reit
this project will see C&B milling and excavating a section of the current parking and
re-building the excavated section to job specs. |

|
Woodridge Place, Summerside: Curran & Briggs Limited,
contracted by the owners of Woodridge Place will conduct site development
to permit expansion of new lots. Work to include site development,
pipe work, and road infrastructure. |

|
Stratford Sobeys Parking Lot: Contracted by Crombie Reit
this project will see C&B milling and excavating the current parking lot
located on the front, side and rear of The Stratford Sobeys and
re-building the parking lot to specs. |

Heritage Park Phase 3: Curran & Briggs Limited has been
contracted by The City of Summerside to carry on with Phase 3 of the
Heritage Park Project. Work will include site development for
washroom facilities, park lighting, walkways and landscaping.

|
Springfield Route 2 Road Construction: Curran & Briggs Limited is
contracted by the province of PEI's Transportation and Public Works to
remove and replace roadway at Springfield on Route 2. Work encompasses removing the existing road surface,
excavation and construction of a new road. |

Summerside Pipe Work: Contracted by The City of
Summerside this project will have Curran & Briggs Limited installing new
water line and residential hook-ups along Eustane Street and upper
Arcona Street.
Street paving and landscaping to be completed as required. |

Summerside Pump Stations: Contracted by The City of
Summerside this project will have Curran & Briggs Limited re-furbishing
the Pump Stations on Northumberland and Eustane Streets. Work will
include upgrades to electrical services, incoming / outgoing lines as
well as pumping equipment. Street paving and landscaping to be
completed as required. |

Kensington (Barrett St): Contracted by The Dept of
Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, C&B will conduct pipe work to
upgrade the current storm lines as well as required road work. |

Shorefront Protection: Contracted by several cottage owners
in Augustine Cove Curran & Briggs Limited is carrying out shorefront
protection. Work will include removing existing rock placing
landscaping fabric to prevent erosion and replacing rock to further
prevent erosion of the existing shorefront. |

|
Albany "Y" Road Construction: Curran & Briggs Limited is
contracted by the province of PEI's Transportation and Public Works to
remove and replace approximately 783 meters of roadway at the Albany
"Y". Work encompasses removing the existing road surface,
excavation and construction of a new road. |

Community Connections Site Development: Curran & Briggs
Limited sub-contracted by T&K Home Improvement's is carrying out site development for the new Community
Connections project off of Granville St behind the old Holland College
Building. Project will involve excavation / site preparation,
installation of water service and sewer main service, driveway, parking
lot and sidewalks. |
